Quilled Valentine's Day Photo Frame

This Quilled Photo Frame is made as a gift for my Husbands birthday. I bought the wooden frame from a craft store then covered it with a designer paper using glue.

In this Quilled Photo Frame to elevate the shape of the frame I used continuous scrolling technique for this I used 3 m.m orange strips.

I made a new flower its called Malaysian flower in this Quilled Project. I learned this technique by seeing a video in youtube(http://youtu.be/dzqhRaC3G1k).

Quilled Frame with Flowers and Dragonfly

I gifted this Quilled frame to my friends for their new home decoration.

I have used “Alternate Side Looping” Technique in this Quilled Frame art. This is a type of husking technique where we will not use any pins, instead we hold the paper in hand. White flower and some leafs are made with this technique.

The remaining flowers and leaves in this Quilled frame are made with basic quilled shapes like marquis and benthalf circle shapes.

I have included a dragonfly with basic quilled shapes in this Quilled Frame art.

I've used Ikea shadowbox  size 9'X9' for framing this quilled art.

Quilling Love Birds: Quilling Birds On A Branch

This Quilling Birds Art work I made as a Guest designer of Hamster challenge for Valentine's day Challenge.

In this quilling birds art work the 2 birds are made with basic quilling shapes.
Quilled bird's body and wings are made with a bent teardrop shapes, head with a tight circle centered with black color tight coil and cover with white color paper. Tile is made with 3 small marquise shapes and nose with a small triangle. The quilling tree branch is assembled with marquise shapes. 
All the paper strips used in this quilling art work are pre-cut  3 m.m strips.


 

  

Photo Frame: Quilling Photo Frame

This Quilling Photo-Frame made to gift my friend who is leaving to her home country.
The 4x6 wooden photo-frame used in this quilling work was bought in Michaels craft store, then wraped with a craft paper.

Flowers, buds and leaves that are used in this quilling photo-frame were made with the basic shapes of quilling like marquise, tight coils and one side scrolls. All the shapes were made with 3 m.m pre-cut paper strips

For this 6 fringed flowers also used, they were made using 6 m.m paper strips.

Underwater World Quilling work

This quilling artwork made for participating in Hamster Challenge for underwater theme (please find the following banner to view). 

This art work has red and pink quilled corals, star fish, cute little quilled turtle, beautiful and colorful quilled fishes.

Birthday Card : Quilling Flowers and Butterflies

In this quilled birthday card 4 types of quilled flowers are used . The 2 Quilled butterflies are made using 1.5 m.m paper strips. 
Silver border has used as a assortment to this card. The silver border lines and the happy birthday script are the peel-off stickers, I bought them online.

Quilled Balloons Birthday Card

This Quilled Birthday Card is designed with quilled balloons tied with a ribbon.
Quilled balloons are made with 3 m.m strips.
